For those not in RI, indoor prostitution was a big issue. It was legal until recently. I understand that human trafficking and exploitation is wrong, however, there are healthy expressions of sexuality that are not exploitation. Sex is natural, people have been doing it since humans walked the earth.
I received the following in an email from
From RI Citizens for the Arts:
The Arts Affected by new Sex Trafficking law
During the recent 2-day sess…

Hey everyone! I hope you are all doing fabulous! I am doing pretty great myself, but I do have ONE issue!...I am SO ready to move away from Austin. Yet, where would I go? I would like to stay in school and keep studying writing. So, I want to take a poll!

3-Chicago, Illinois

5-SOMEWHERE TOTALLY DIFFERENT THAN ALL THE ABOVE
Because this is the only time in my life that I have the ability…

So, this summer has been interesting for me. Well...actually its been quite slow. I haven't had anything to do, which I love (who doesn't?), but I won't lie about the fact that I feel a bit worthless. Haha! I am not doing ANYTHING with my life. For about 2 months now I haven't had one single responsibility. That just is not normal, hehe. I tried to volunteer for the writers league of texas but there was miscommunication, I guess, because I never heard back from them!
I wish Austin had more of a…

I haven't really said much on here in a while...but I am attempting a new endeavor. Sobriety! I have decided that I depend too much on alcohol and it is doing nothing but bringing my life down. "Being young and in college during the summer" is no excuse for heavy drinking--in my book! So I am excited because I feel healthier in every aspect of my life. I am physically, mentally, emotionally, spritually, and all of the rest in a much better place.
I am actually very ready for school to start soo…

Is it just me or are there those girls out there who REFUSE to let the past go...even a year later? I thought for a long time that I really was a horrible person who just ruined this girl, but at some point you have to be willing to accept the other persons apology, honestly accept. The fact is that people make mistakes. We have all heard that before because it is true. Also, people get hurt. Intentionally and unintentionally. We are all strong enough people to handle that and move on with our l…

So we officially made it one year of being married! Yay us! lol
On June 17th 2008, gay marriage was effectively legal in the state of California and I married my true love Gina Phineas, which effectively made me Mrs. Phineas.
When we got married our lives changed, and we felt truly protected in our relationship with each other and for our children.
Our marriage was left standing in the wake of Prop 8, and we are praying that a new measure will overturn Prop 8 in 2010.
For our children, for o…

Oh! we were so excited about Obama being the first prez who will be internet savvy, and the Blackberry has never looked sexier(- makes me want a man.) But low and behold, our greatest asset is our greatest weakness. Now he want's to limit our internet access- what we can do, what we can't do. This all because of his excuse: Someone hacked our systems when I was campaining- But nothing bad happened. KEY TO NOTE no one's info was taken, nothing bad happened. For all we know it was some kid who jus…

So I was wondering if anyone else noticed that literally hours before Prop 8 was approved (again), we as citizens of the United States of America lost out rights to remain silent.
O so they didn't say that flat out. But what they did say was that if we are questioned by the police and ask for our lawyers- they don't have to assign us one, AND they can just keep us. And they have the balls (icky and blue) to say that 'Oh! No we aren't taking away any of your rights, and you can have them back la…
