California, here I come!

Hi, all! I'm new around here and this is my first post.

I'm off to California for 6 weeks starting in June (for work), but I'm a NYer who's never been further west than Ohio! Any Californians want to give me the inside scoop on all the coolest places? I'll be near Stanford.
