But I'm looking forward to feeding my emotions in a few days for Thanksgiving! HaHa This whole Prop.8 thing threw me for a spin, and this is the first holiday season since my mother passed away this summer. Plus the wife and I are trying for a baby right now, the kids are getting bigger and going through more and more of this crazy life. What an emotional rollercoaster I've been on! There's so much to be thankful for, and I've put together a really gay I mean good menu for stuffing my face this Thanksgiving...

Turkey, Brown Sugar Ham, Sausage and Peppers, Mashed Potatos and Graveeee, Candied Yams, Gingered Butternut Squash, Pasta Salad, Garden Salad, Corn on The Cob, Rolls, Cranberry Sauce, Apple Pie, Pumpkin Pie, and Pineapple Upside Down cake. Oh and some fried chicken too, LOL.

I'm not making any stuffing this year in honor of my mother. It was my favorite each year, and some didnt like it but I loved it. She never told me what her recipe was, I know I can't duplicate it, and I think it's funny. She took that recipe with her to the grave!! She was stubborn like that. LOL

Well we don't have an official dinner planned, but we are the house that is open to anyone who doesn't have a place to go for dinner that day so I am looking forward to cooking up a storm pretty soon and then filling my belly!!! Hopes are that it will fill my heart up too...

Thanks for listening!

Much Love,

~Julie P~

I'm at the airport on my way to VEGAS. My Thanksgiving will be spent just getting the F out of here! So who's the coward? My mother and I haven't spoke since a few days after my b-day (Jan.) When my sister mentioned to her we were getting married she laughed. I can still hear it echoed. Needless to say I will still be THANKFUL. Last year my mother was a guest in my apartment. The home that I shared with my girlfriend. Who my mother really liked for me and saw that I was truly happy. Her words. Subsequently, that girlfriend is now my wife. So to me you all have courage. There is no room for open dialogue. I give up.

Would you invite a progressive/liberal Straight Asian guy next time? Get me drunk, and I get political. I would tell you how much I hate the RNC.
